Welcome to our classes and events center. Below you will see our list of current events.

Please drop by Moonrise Herbs on the plaza or call at (707) 822-5296 for updated information on additional classes and/or free talks, and also for more detailed information on the following classes. Class sizes are limited, so register early. The store remains open after class for purchases, so you can get the tools you need to begin (or continue!) your journey to health.

Introduction to the Study of Tarot As An Evolutionary Path with Carolyn Ayres

Bring a tarot deck (if you have one) and writing utensils.  Carolyn will have decks for those who don't have one.
A practitioner of the Tarot for 35 years, Carolyn Ayres teaches Tarot as an Evolutionary Path and Tarot on the Tree of Life classes at The Garden Studio in Eureka.  A regular contributor to Wholistic Heartbeat/Isis Scrolls with her column Tarot Wise, Carolyn uses the Tarot as a guide for her own and your evolutionary leap!

Beginning with Herbs Winter Session with Jane Bothwell


January 23 - March 13, 2019

7:00 - 9:30pm

Cost: $420


This series is an excellent introduction to the world of healing plants for the beginner and those with more experience as well, these classes will guide you through the gentle, healing way of herbs.
Includes field identification, herbal first-aid, demonstration and use of medicinal preparations (salves, tinctures, syrups, pills, etc.), formula making, and more, with lots of “hands-on” activities. We will prepare a number of herbal products and you’ll each have samples to take home.

Meets one evening a week for 8 weeks, and two herb walks:

-Dandelion Herbal Center Sunday, Feb. 3, 2019 1:00 – 3:30 p.m.
-Trinidad Head Sunday, Feb. 24, 2019 1:00 – 3:30 p.m.

Tuition: $420 Includes samples and two herb walks.
